The role is the single point of accountability for the integrity, speed and credibility of every assessment the University conducts and every credential it issues. The mandate is to convert the examination function from a custodial, calendar-driven office into a governed, data-driven and largely automated service: results on time, without error, without leak, and verifiable by any employer or regulator within minutes. This is a target-based leadership role, measured on outcomes, not on effort.

4. Evaluation & Results
- Deploy on-screen marking with step marking and script masking
- Apply double valuation and moderation rules as per Ordinance
- Lock internal-assessment marks in the ERP before examinations
- Rule-based result processing with four-eye verification
- Declare results within published timelines; run revaluation and supplementary cycles
5. Credentials & Records
- Issue grade cards, transcripts, provisional, migration and degree certificates within the time limits
- Upload results and credentials to ABC and DigiLocker
- Issue QR-verifiable documents; run an online verification service
- Maintain a secure archive and records-retention schedule
6. Technology, AI & Automation
- Deliver an end-to-end digital examination module in the ERP
- AI-assisted question drafting and tagging, always vetted by experts
- Marker-variance analytics and AI-flagged proctoring, with human decisions

- Live dashboards for leadership, IQAC and NAAC
7. Compliance & Grievance
- Ensure conformity with UGC regulations and the University's Statutes and Ordinances

- Respond to audits, regulators and RTI-type requests on examinations
- Resolve examination grievances within the time limits
8. Leadership, Cost & Capability
- Build, train and lead the examination team
- Train and certify examiners on outcome-based assessment and on-screen marking
- Reduce cost per candidate through automation and vendor management
- Report weekly MIS to University leadership
