Whole9yards® USA manages a catalog of more than 200,000 products and shipped over 3.1 million units in 2025 through a hybrid retail model combining inventory-led fulfillment and dropship operations. Proprietary technology supports repricing, inventory management, order routing, and EDI compliance, enabling scalable partnerships with brands. The company also develops its own brands, including Oakestry® and BigKitchen®, and operates offices in the U.S. and India, including a corporate presence in Kolkata.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Vendor Manager role based in Kolkata.

The Vendor

Manager will oversee end-to-end vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance management, and ongoing communication with brand partners. The role involves negotiating commercial terms and contracts, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies, service levels, and marketplace requirements.

Manager will monitor vendor performance using data and analytics, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with operations, finance, and technology teams to optimize assortment, pricing, and supply. This position will also support strategic initiatives to expand the vendor network and strengthen long-term partnerships aligned with Whole9yards® USA’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Robust vendor and procurement capabilities, including experience in Procurement and Contract Management.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with the ability to structure clear, commercially sound agreements.
- Excellent Communication skills for managing internal stakeholders and external vendor relationships.
- Robust Analytical Skills for analyzing vendor performance, pricing, and supply chain metrics.
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, or supply chain management is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage multiple vendor accounts simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools; familiarity with ERP or marketplace platforms is a plus.
