Hiring: Assistant Manager – Vendor Development

Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional to join our team in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, identify, and qualify vendors for fabrication, casting, machining, and other mechanical components.

Manage the complete vendor development process, from supplier identification to approval and onboarding.

Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, technical capabilities, and manufacturing capacity.

Coordinate with Quality, Production, Design, and Purchase teams to meet product specifications and delivery timelines.

Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve supplier performance.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.





Ensure compliance with applicable quality requirements and documentation standards for medical device manufacturing.

Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

5–10 years of relevant experience in vendor development, sourcing, or supplier management.

Robust knowledge of fabrication, casting, machining, and mechanical component manufacturing processes.

Experience in supplier evaluation, quality management, cost negotiation, and technical drawings.

Exposure to medical devices, medical equipment, precision engineering, or regulated manufacturing will be an advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
