Role Summary

Responsible for Linux shell scripting, cron job scheduling, batch job monitoring, troubleshooting job failures, and supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts.
- Create, manage, and monitor Cron jobs.
- Investigate job failures and perform root cause analysis.
- Validate job dependencies and execution sequences.
- Analyze Linux logs and system issues.
- Support production incidents and scheduled releases.
- Document job flows and recovery procedures.

Technical Skills

- Linux/Unix Administration
- Shell Scripting (Bash)
- Cron Job Scheduling
- grep, awk, sed, tail
- Process Monitoring
- File System Management
- Basic SQL knowledge

Key Expectations

- Understand end-to-end batch processing workflows.
- Quickly identify job execution issues.
- Coordinate with application and database teams.
- Prepare RCA and operational documentation.
