About the Role

Rexus Group is looking for an experienced UPS & Data Center Electrical Project Manager with strong technical expertise in Eaton UPS systems, particularly the Eaton 93PM / 93PM-L Series .

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing UPS and data center electrical infrastructure projects end to end , from initial site surveys, electrical assessments and design through Bill of Materials (BoM) preparation, procurement coordination, installation, testing, commissioning and final client handover.

This role requires a combination of electrical engineering expertise, UPS technical knowledge and project management capabilities .

The candidate will work remotely with onsite electricians, data center engineers, vendors, subcontractors and internal technical teams to ensure projects are completed within the agreed scope, budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Technical Project Management

- Take complete technical ownership of assigned UPS and data center electrical infrastructure projects.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
- Manage projects from initial assessment through final commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate with onsite electricians, data center engineers, vendors and installation contractors.
- Monitor project budgets, material costs, timelines, risks and technical quality.
- Manage technical escalations, project documentation, progress reporting and client communication.
- Ensure successful project delivery within approved scope and budget.

2. Site Survey & Electrical Infrastructure Assessment

- Prepare detailed site survey checklists for onsite engineers.
- Remotely guide electricians and data center engineers during site surveys.
- Review existing UPS infrastructure, electrical distribution panels, breakers, feeder cables,



conduits and rack power connections.
- Assess existing electrical drawings, equipment specifications and site conditions.
- Identify infrastructure limitations, technical risks and additional requirements.
- Prepare site assessment reports and recommendations.

3. UPS Load Study & Electrical Design

- Perform UPS load calculations, capacity assessments and power distribution studies.
- Evaluate existing and proposed electrical loads, redundancy and future capacity requirements.
- Prepare and review electrical Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Develop UPS power distribution designs and panel schedules.
- Calculate feeder and branch-circuit conductor sizes, breaker ratings, voltage drop and conduit requirements.
- Review UPS input/output distribution, maintenance bypass systems and protective devices.
- Coordinate qualified engineering review and technical design approvals where required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable NEC, NFPA and relevant electrical standards.

4. Bill of Materials (BoM) Preparation & Validation

- Prepare detailed and accurate electrical Bills of Materials.
- Review client-provided BoMs against actual site survey findings.
- Identify required UPS distribution panels, breakers, feeder cables, branch wiring, conduits, underfloor electrical whips, receptacles and accessories.
- Verify material specifications, quantities, ratings and compatibility.
- Identify discrepancies between estimated and actual requirements.
- Recommend technically suitable and cost-effective alternatives.
- Prepare final BoMs and technical documentation for client approval.

5. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Coordinate with procurement teams to source approved electrical materials.
- Review supplier quotations, product specifications and technical compliance.




- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and installation estimates.
- Support vendor selection, price negotiations and cost optimization.
- Track material procurement, delivery schedules and project readiness.
- Ensure materials are ordered according to approved engineering specifications.

6. Installation & Execution Management

- Coordinate with onsite electrical installation contractors.
- Prepare installation schedules, execution plans and technical instructions.
- Manage project execution remotely and monitor progress.
- Coordinate planned electrical shutdowns and maintenance windows.
- Resolve technical issues, design queries and installation challenges.
- Ensure installation quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

7. Testing, Commissioning & Client Handover

- Coordinate UPS electrical testing, power transfer testing and commissioning.
- Review UPS load-bank testing requirements and results.
- Coordinate with OEM specialists and commissioning engineers where required.
- Verify grounding, breaker coordination and electrical protection requirements.
- Manage final inspections, technical documentation and punch-list closure.
- Prepare updated as-built drawings, test reports and commissioning documentation.
- Coordinate client sign-off and final project handover.

Mandatory UPS Brand Experience Eaton UPS Systems – Mandatory

Candidates must have solid technical knowledge and practical project experience with Eaton UPS systems, preferably:

- Eaton 93PM Series
- Eaton 93PM-L Series
- Eaton three-phase UPS systems in the 80–120 kW range or similar enterprise configurations
- Eaton UPS power distribution and maintenance bypass systems
- Eaton UPS electrical integration, load calculations and commissioning coordination

Experience with Eaton UPS electrical infrastructure design and integration is strongly preferred over experience limited to UPS servicing or battery replacement. Additional UPS Brand Experience – Preferred

Experience with other enterprise UPS systems will be an advantage:
