To facilitate rigorous, learner-centred instruction in English Language and Literature, aligned with the CBSE curriculum, competency-based learning outcomes, and contemporary pedagogical practices, while fostering critical thinking, communication, creativity, and literary appreciation.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver outcome-oriented, engaging lessons aligned with CBSE curricular competencies.

- Develop students' proficiency in language, literature, reading, writing, grammar, and communication.

- Employ inquiry-based, experiential, collaborative, and differentiated pedagogies to address diverse learning needs.

- Foster critical thinking, higher-order thinking skills, creativity, and independent learning through analytical and application-based tasks.

- Design and implement formative, summative, and competency-based assessments aligned with learning outcomes.

- Analyse student performance,



identify learning gaps, and implement remedial and enrichment interventions.

- Integrate appropriate digital tools and resources to enhance teaching-learning experiences.

- Contribute to curriculum planning, academic documentation, departmental initiatives, and co-curricular/literary activities.
