Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand application functionality.

- Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and retesting activities.

- Identify, document, track, and report defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar defect-tracking tools.

- Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.

- Perform UI, usability, and cross-browser testing as required.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and review meetings.

- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to investigate and resolve defects.

- Maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and defect logs.

- Ensure adequate test coverage and support the team in meeting release timelines.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.





Required Skills and Qualifications

- 24 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Software Testing Life Cycle.

- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle.

- Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.

- Hands-on experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.

- Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.

- Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation is preferred.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of web application testing and/or mobile application testing.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
