Key Responsibilities1. Operate CNC press brake and sheet metal bending machines as per job requirements.

2. Read engineering drawings and identify bending angles, dimensions and bend sequences.

3. Select and install the correct punch, die and tooling for each job.

4. Set bending parameters, back gauge positions and machine programs.

5. Perform trial bending and verify the required angle and dimensions before mass production.

6. Check finished components for bending accuracy, deformation, scratches and dimensional defects.

7. Handle MS, SS, GI and aluminium sheet metal components safely.

8. Coordinate with the laser cutting and fabrication teams to meet production targets.

9. Maintain production records, tooling condition and machine cleanliness.

Follow machine safety instructions and report breakdowns or abnormalities to the supervisor.

Required Skills·

. Practical knowledge of CNC press brake and bending machine operation.

· Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret bending symbols.

· Knowledge of bend allowance, bend deduction and springback is desirable.

· Ability to use vernier calipers, angle gauges and measuring instruments.

Knowledge of tooling selection, machine setup and quality inspection
