JOB DESCRIPTION – PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

1. Job SummaryThe Physician Assistant supports the treating physician in patient assessment, clinical documentation, monitoring, and coordination of patient care. The role involves assisting doctors in routine clinical activities and ensuring quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies.

- 2. Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist physicians in examining and assessing patients.
- Record patient history, vital signs, and clinical observations.
- Assist doctors during ward rounds and clinical procedures within the scope of training and authorization.
- Monitor patients and promptly report changes in their clinical condition to the treating physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Assist in preparing discharge summaries and treatment documentation under the physician's supervision.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies.
- Support emergency response activities within the scope of training and authorization.
- 3. Educational QualificationB.Sc. in Physician Assistant from a recognized institution.
- Relevant clinical training or internship is preferred.
- Freshers may apply, subject to the hospital's recruitment requirements.
- 4. Required SkillsGood clinical observation and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient assessment.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records.
- Teamwork and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- 5. ExperienceFreshers and candidates with relevant hospital experience may apply.
- Experience in General Medicine, ICU, Emergency, or inpatient departments is an advantage.
