**About the role The HR Ally is an Australian HR Technology consulting and recruitment firm. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter based in India to manage end-to-end recruitment for technology roles across Australia.

This role suits someone with proven Australian IT recruitment experience, strong headhunting skills and the ability to independently manage multiple requirements while delivering a qualified candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from understanding requirements and sourcing through to screening, interview coordination, offer management and joining.
- Identify active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, Boolean searches, recruitment platforms, referrals and targeted outreach.
- Screen candidates for relevant technical experience, communication skills, role suitability, work rights, availability and salary or contract rate expectations.
- Prepare clear candidate summaries that demonstrate alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Build talent pipelines for niche and recurring technology requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activity and pipeline updates in the ATS.
- Take ownership of agreed recruitment targets, submission quality and timely follow-ups.

Essential requirements

- Demonstrated experience recruiting for Australian IT roles.




- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for permanent and/or contract positions.
- Strong sourcing and headhunting skills, including Boolean search and LinkedIn sourcing.
- Experience recruiting across one or more areas such as software engineering, cloud, data and analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure or enterprise applications.
- Understanding of Australian work rights, notice periods, salary expectations and contract rates.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with confident candidate communication.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Availability to work agreed hours aligned with Australian business hours.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable remote working environment.

- Recruitment agency experience supporting Australian clients.
- A track record of successful placements in niche technology roles.
- Experience recruiting within banking, financial services, consulting or technology services.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment reporting.
