What does a successful Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv The Software Development Engineer will serve as a technical leader in our Mainframe Software Engineering Department and play a key role in developing industry leading software for our customers. They will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting complex technical and architectural solutions that support the Digital Banking division payment processing platform. We develop new features for the DPS product strategies and address the market needs of Fiserv clients and their customers in an Agile workplace.

What you will do

- Work with Solution Architect and scrum team to ensure application code algins with the application architecture.

- Adhere to platform architecture and best practices.

- Participate in daily/weekly stand ups, code reviews, and QA walkthroughs.

- Work with scrum team in developing the sprint plan.





- Complete assigned tasks within the sprint timeline and with high quality

- You will develop a deep understanding of appropriate data software components including conceptual data models, data flows, entity relationships, specifications, audit controls, exception and error handling, security, etc

- Support technical design decisions through validation of technical approaches and prototyping of new concepts.

- Identify and implement continuous improvements to the development practice
