A Day in the Life

- Build new systems in a way that best ensures functional requirements are met.

- Ensure the service qualities (Performance, scalability, extensibility, etc.) are achievable for the existing
- and upcoming projects.

- Review and improve on existing systems,



by making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek
- continual improvement.

- Provide high level guidance and direction on project work, by ensuring the new projects fit in with an
- overall strategic vision.

- Ensure code quality and best practices in software development.

- Document the technical designs.

What you will need

- Experience as a Tech lead or similar for a midsize team.

- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.

- Hands on experience in one or more of these languages/frameworks:

- Java / Python / Javascript / AngularJS / React JS

- Experience in one or more of the following technologies:

- MySQL, Postgres

- MongoDB, Redis, Memcached

- AWS, GoogleApp Engine, Azure

- Experience in building and delivering effective software solutions.

- Ability to look after overall system architecture and design, ensuring performance and scalability.

- Understanding business requirements and determining appropriate technical solutions.

- Strong communication with technical and business teams.

- Data engineering experience would be a major plus.
