Role Description The Team Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day operations across customer-facing and internal teams. This role includes handling customer inquiries, resolving issues related to tax engine usage, and coordinating with technical and product teams to ensure a smooth client experience.

The Team

Specialist will assist in documenting processes, preparing training materials, and helping onboard new customers or team members. Daily activities include monitoring service performance, analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities, and communicating updates or best practices to stakeholders. The role also involves contributing to team initiatives, participating in virtual meetings,



and supporting continuous improvement in workflows and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support problem-solving in operational and customer scenarios.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Customer service skills to manage inquiries, address concerns professionally, and maintain positive long-term relationships.
- Training skills to help onboard customers or team members, deliver instructions, and create or refine support documentation.
- Team leadership skills to coordinate tasks, support team-oriented projects, and contribute to a constructive, inclusive team environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Comfort with technology and SaaS tools; experience with tax, finance, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Relevant experience in operations, customer support, or team coordination; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
