Summary Position Summary Tax Consultant II , Legal Business Services Join Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited and support large, complex organizations through legal business services that help improve contracting, compliance, and operational processes.

This role sits within Legal Business Services and focuses on supporting business-as-usual contracting, regulatory and triggering event response, workflow coordination, records management, and process improvement. You will work closely with US and global teams while helping deliver high-quality, technology-enabled support to clients.

Work you'll do As a Tax Consultant II in Deloitte’s Legal Business Services function, you will be responsible for:

- Deliver legal business engagements for Deloitte clients, including assisting in drafting and negotiating playbook-based buy-side and sell-side commercial contracts such as MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, work orders, and change notes
- Identify process and operational efficiencies within corporate business legal services clients’ contracting function
- Report against KPIs and metrics
- Assist in executing engagement administration, including document collection, data entry, tracking, records organization, contract review, and coordinating client logistics
- Review and project manage the entire contracting process, including coordinating with finance, legal, commercial, business, and delivery stakeholders, incorporating their feedback in the contract, and assisting in closing the contract
- Review and research technical and industry-specific issues
- Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management and clients
- Balance multiple projects and responsibilities

Location: Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Pune Shift Timings: US Shift timing: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM or 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Qualifications Required:

- Legal training (LL.B/BA.LLB or equivalent)
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience or alternative legal service industry experience
- Level of familiarity with legal technology and its application in the contract lifecycle management field
- Solid Microsoft Office and other technology skills such as Word, Excel, and PPT
- Preferable experience in low complexity commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with commercial agreement types such as NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, distribution agreements, and license agreements

- Aptitude and commitment to continue to learn various IT platforms and additional software skills
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Good communication to both internal and external stakeholders and collaboration skills
- Excellent client presentation skills
- High level of attention to detail, outstanding organization skills, and well-developed critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
