We are looking for experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for freelance, project-based assignments. The ideal candidates should possess strong subject knowledge and prior experience collaborating with Instructional Designers (IDs) to develop engaging, accurate, and learner-friendly educational content for K–12 learners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and review subject-specific educational content, including study materials, assessments, worksheets, question banks, and learning resources.
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers to structure and develop effective learning experiences.
- Explain complex scientific concepts in a explicit, accurate, and age-appropriate manner.
- Validate educational content for subject accuracy, curriculum alignment, and learning objectives.
- Create questions, solutions, explanations, and application-based learning activities.
- Review and provide feedback on instructional materials, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Revise content based on feedback from the instructional design team and project requirements.
- Ensure content aligns with the prescribed curriculum, grade level, and academic standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Strong academic background in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Subject Matter Expert,



academic content developer, curriculum developer, or educational content reviewer.
- Previous experience collaborating with an Instructional Designer (ID) is mandatory.
- Experience in the US curriculum or US higher studies
- Experience developing content for K–12 learners, schools, publishers, or EdTech platforms.
- Excellent subject knowledge, written communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and incorporate feedback effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience developing digital learning content and instructional materials.
- Familiarity with learning objectives, curriculum mapping, and assessment design.
- Experience with Bloom's Taxonomy and competency-based learning.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for different learner levels.
