About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling students who are planning to pursue higher education abroad and guiding them through the journey from initial enquiry to application and admission.

This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative approach, attention to detail, and the ability to understand a student's academic profile, career goals, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable study-abroad opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding study-abroad programs, universities, countries, courses, and career pathways.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, career aspirations, financial considerations, and preferred destinations.
- Provide accurate guidance on suitable universities, courses, eligibility criteria, and admission requirements.
- Manage and follow up with leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Convert qualified enquiries into applications and support students through the admission journey.
- Explain the application process, timelines, documentation requirements, and other relevant procedures.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and ensure timely movement of leads through the counselling funnel.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth application processing and student support.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, applications, and conversions.
- Stay updated with changes in university requirements, intakes, courses, scholarships,



and study-abroad trends.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents by providing transparent, personalised, and qualified guidance.
- Achieve assigned counselling, application, and conversion targets.

What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in study-abroad counselling, overseas education, student counselling, admissions, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong counselling and relationship-management abilities.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide personalised recommendations.
- Target-oriented and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
- Good follow-up, organisation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle student and parent queries professionally.
- Familiarity with popular study destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe will be an advantage.
- Candidates with strong admissions or counselling experience and a genuine interest in international education are encouraged to apply.
