ABOUT THE ROLE The Structural Audit Engineer role offers practical exposure to structural assessment, design and site execution. You will inspect existing buildings, conduct and interpret non-destructive tests, prepare structural audit reports, and develop repair and strengthening recommendations.

You will also analyse and design RCC and steel structures, develop retrofitting schemes, and supervise their execution at project sites. Working between our Pitampura office and live project sites, you will gain end-to-end experience from initial inspection to completed strengthening works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct structural inspections of residential, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings; identify and document cracks, deflections, corrosion, spalling, seepage and other signs of distress.
- Plan, conduct and supervise testing, including rebound hammer, ultrasonic pulse velocity, half-cell potential, carbonation, cover meter/rebar locator surveys, core extraction and chemical tests.
- Interpret test results, assess structural adequacy and residual life, and recommend suitable repair, retrofitting or strengthening measures.
- Prepare structural audit reports, periodic inspection reports and structural stability certificates supported by photographs,



test data, findings and recommendations.
- Model, analyse and design RCC and steel structures using ETABS and/or STAAD.Pro, including seismic analysis and ductile detailing requirements.
- Develop strengthening schemes such as RCC/steel jacketing, FRP wrapping, micro-concreting, section enlargement, and shear-wall or bracing additions.
- Perform manual design checks for beams, columns, slabs, footings and connections in accordance with relevant Indian Standards.
- Review structural drawings and reinforcement detailing; prepare or coordinate GFC drawings, method statements, design reports, BOQs and specifications.
- Supervise repair, retrofitting, strengthening and construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Check reinforcement, formwork, concreting, grouting, FRP application and construction-chemical works; witness material tests and maintain quality records.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, applicators, vendors and site teams; resolve technical queries and issue site instructions.
- Track progress, measure executed quantities, verify contractor bills and maintain project reports and documentation.
