Role & responsibilities

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across India, supporting regional and global procurement initiatives.
- Manage direct and indirect procurement, including OPEX, CAPEX, and IPO purchases, in line with Group policies.
- Lead RFQs, supplier selection, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and purchase order processes.
- Drive cost optimization, annual savings targets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities through supplier consolidation, value engineering, and competitive sourcing.
- Monitor and report procurement savings in collaboration with Finance.
- Drive supplier development, performance improvement, and successful PPAP completion, where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgets, ethics, and Vision Zero audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement and cross-functional teams to support sourcing strategies and new product launches.
- Demonstrate accountability, uphold Dinex Values, achieve ambitious targets, and travel as required.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years of procurement experience in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management,



and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Robust knowledge of CNC-machined parts, sheet metal assemblies, and steel raw materials.
- Experience in capital investments, CAPEX, and indirect procurement.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, data analysis, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Working knowledge of APQP, claims management, 8D problem-solving, and project management.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices.
