Store Incharge

Location: Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra | Full time | Permanent

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify raw materials, castings, forgings, and bought-out components against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), spare parts, and finished products.
- Manage stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation using ERP systems.
- Issue materials to production, assembly, and testing teams against authorized material requisitions.
- Maintain Heat Number, Batch Number, and Material Test Report (MTR) traceability.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Store Issue Vouchers (SIV), gate passes, and stock reports.
- Implement FIFO, minimum–maximum stock levels, and 5S housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Production, Accounts, and Dispatch teams.
- Handle vendor returns for rejected materials and support safe packing and dispatch operations.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–7 years in stores or inventory management.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in valve, pump, fastener,



or precision mechanical manufacturing is preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, including valve bodies, stems, seats, gaskets, fasteners, and raw material grades such as SS, CS, and alloy steel.
- Strong organizational, documentation, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail in stock verification and material traceability.
