About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, analytical, and detail-oriented Stock Market Interns to join our 1-month internship program at Cornixe. Interns will gain practical exposure to stock market fundamentals, equity research, technical analysis, fundamental analysis, market trends, and financial data interpretation.

During the internship, candidates will learn how stock markets operate, analyze historical stock price data, study company financial performance, and prepare market research reports using tools such as Microsoft Excel and charting platforms. Interns will work on educational assignments and simulated market case studies under the guidance of mentors to develop their analytical and research skills.

Key Responsibilities

Week 1 – Stock Market Fundamentals & Research

- Understand stock market basics, stock exchanges, equity shares, indices, and market participants.
- Learn about NSE, BSE, Nifty 50, and Sensex.
- Research listed companies, industry sectors, and market movements.
- Understand order types, trading sessions, liquidity, and market volatility.
- Collect and organize historical stock price and market data.
- Prepare basic stock market research summaries.

Week 2 – Technical Analysis & Chart Reading

- Learn candlestick patterns, price action, support and resistance, and trend identification.
- Study moving averages, RSI, MACD, volume, and other common technical indicators.
- Analyze historical price charts using charting platforms such as TradingView.
- Identify potential trends and study historical market patterns.
- Develop and document basic trading strategies using historical data.
- Maintain a market observation journal and record analytical findings.

Week 3 – Fundamental Analysis & Company Evaluation

- Study company financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Analyze financial ratios such as P/E, P/B, EPS, ROE, and debt-to-equity ratio.
- Research company earnings, business models, industry performance, and growth prospects.
- Compare companies within the same industry using publicly available financial data.
- Understand the relationship between economic indicators,



corporate results, and stock market movements.
- Prepare company comparison reports based on financial and operational performance.

Week 4 – Market Research Project & Presentation

- Complete an assigned stock market research project using historical data and publicly available information.
- Conduct a combined technical and fundamental analysis of selected companies.
- Prepare charts, comparison tables, and market research reports using Excel and charting tools.
- Backtest a basic trading strategy using historical data, where applicable.
- Document assumptions, analytical methods, limitations, and research findings.
- Present the completed project and explain the results to mentors for evaluation.

Performance & Stipend The stipend will range from ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month, based on individual performance, research quality, analytical skills, project contribution, accuracy of reports, task completion, and achievement of assigned targets.

Stipend eligibility and the final amount will be determined according to the organization's communicated evaluation criteria. The applicable stipend terms will be shared with candidates before the internship begins.

Candidates are expected to complete assigned tasks within the specified timelines, maintain accurate research records, use reliable information sources, protect confidential information, and demonstrate professional communication and a willingness to learn.

The internship is intended for educational purposes and market research skill development. Activities will focus on publicly available market data, historical analysis, and simulated case studies. Interns will not be required to invest personal money, manage client funds, execute trades on behalf of others, or provide regulated investment advice.
