Role Description The Staff Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based at our clinic in Mumbai. This role involves dispensing homeopathic medications accurately according to prescriptions, verifying dosages, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and clinic policies.

The Staff

Pharmacist will counsel patients on proper medication use, storage, and potential interactions, and maintain clear, up-to-date records of all dispensed medications. Daily responsibilities include managing inventory, checking expiry dates, coordinating with physicians and clinic staff, and supporting patient queries in a professional and empathetic manner.



The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of pharmacy processes and participating in clinic quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

- Relevant pharmacy qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmacy) from a recognized institution; valid registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, with interest or experience in homeopathic medications, dosage forms, and secure dispensing practices.
- Ability to provide clear, respectful patient counseling, including explaining medication instructions and supporting adherence to treatment plans.
- Competence in maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and following standardized procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff in a clinic setting.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a patient-focused mindset, with a commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
- Basic computer literacy for working with electronic records, pharmacy software, and documentation tools.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital pharmacy setting is an advantage, especially in homeopathy or complementary medicine.
