- Provide expert, evidence‑based nursing care for children with a range of conditions, including acute illness, chronic disease, post‑operative care, and specialist clinics.

- Assess and monitor vital signs, growth, and developmental milestones.

- Administer medications, immunisations, and treatments per physician orders.

- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests; report findings to clinicians.

- Assist in pain management and comfort measures for distressed children.

- Implement and evaluate care plans, ensuring compliance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Trust policies.

- Educate families on conditions, treatments, and home care strategies.

- Promote family‑centred care and safeguard child welfare, including child protection procedures.

- Provide emotional support and advocacy for children and families.
