Role & responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement including vendor selection, quotation analysis, negotiation, and PO issuance.
- Oversee purchase, logistics, and store operations to ensure timely material availability.
- Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing and negotiation techniques.
- Coordinate with internal departments to assess and fulfill material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and procurement policies.
- Handle import/export documentation and regulatory formalities.
- Resolve issues related to material quality, delivery delays, and vendor discrepancies.
- Maintain solid supplier relationships and work on continuous vendor development.
- Lead and develop the procurement team, set goals, and monitor their performance.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, products, and cost benchmarks.
- Lead vendor negotiations and meetings to ensure best value procurement.
