Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and integrations for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in .NET technologies, cloud-based development, databases, and modern software architecture.

The role involves collaborating with technical leads, architects, and cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions. The candidate will also contribute to AI-augmented software development practices and explore Generative AI use cases where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Development & Architecture

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Web API.
- Build and maintain integrations across enterprise platforms, including ERP, e-commerce, and product information management systems.
- Implement event-driven architecture and reliable integration components.
- Collaborate with technical leads and architects on solution design and technology decisions.
- Follow clean code principles, automated testing practices, and technical documentation standards.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, maintainability, and long-term performance.

2. Azure & Database Development

- Develop and deploy applications using Azure App Services.
- Work with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Design and work with MongoDB, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

3. AI-Assisted Development

- Use AI coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Contribute to the adoption of AI-supported software development practices across the team.




- Explore Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and knowledge graph architectures.

4. Collaboration & Technical Leadership

- Collaborate with technical teams, architects, product owners, and domain experts across international locations.
- Review code, share technical knowledge, and mentor junior developers.
- Clarify business requirements and contribute to high-quality end-to-end product delivery.
- Promote engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills

- Experience: 6–10+ years in backend development or software engineering.
- Programming: Strong expertise in .NET and C#.
- API Development: Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web API and REST APIs.
- Azure: Experience with Azure App Services, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Architecture: Practical experience with event-driven architecture.
- Databases: Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
- AI Tools: Proficiency in AI coding tools and willingness to promote AI-assisted development practices.
- Soft Skills: Strong collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, multinational, and cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with product development lifecycles and agile product development.
- Functional analysis skills, including use cases and UML.
- Knowledge of vector databases and embeddings.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, RAG, and knowledge graph architectures.
- Exposure to Node.js, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, workflow automation, ERP, or e-commerce platforms.
