Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts that cover functional, performance, and security testing
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement
- Defect Management: Document defects and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting
- Test Automation: Collaborate with automation engineers to identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the creation of automated test scripts
- Regression Testing:



Perform regression testing to verify that defects have been fixed and new changes have not introduced recent issues
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of systems
- Security Testing: Assess product security through various testing methods and collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities
- Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments to ensure consistency between testing and production environments
- Reporting: Generate test reports and provide insights on product quality to stakeholders
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of quality assurance processes and methodologies
- Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior quality analysts, sharing best practices and industry knowledge

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (eg, Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, test automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (eg, Selenium, Python) is a plus
- Robust communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Relevant certifications in quality assurance or testing (eg, ISTQB) are a plus
