Job Summary

ScaleupAlly is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, data modeling, and BI, along with a solid understanding of data engineering and up-to-date data platforms. The role involves building end-to-end BI solutions, including data transformation, modeling, dashboard development, and performance optimization. The candidate should understand ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and scalable data architectures, and work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, Power Query, data modeling, RLS, and Power BI Service.

- Design and manage end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analytics.

- Design scalable data models, including Star Schema, fact and dimension tables.

- Work with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Lakehouse environments.

- Use Python, Spark/PySpark, and Delta Lake for data processing and automation.

- Integrate data from databases, APIs, files, and transactional systems while ensuring data quality.

- Optimize Power BI reports, DAX, SQL, data models, pipelines, and refresh performance.





- Troubleshoot end-to-end data flow from source systems pipelines warehouse/lakehouse Power BI.

- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions.

- Perform data reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.

- Follow Git/version-control practices and contribute to technical standards and documentation.

- Mentor junior team members and support technical decision-making.

- Take ownership of BI and data engineering solutions from development through deployment and optimization.
