Senior Finance Analyst - Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

- Receive and verify invoices for goods and services
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Matching with the Purchase order
- Data entry invoices for payment.
- Process backup reports after data entry
- Monitor the weekly pay-run and record the manual cheque entries for accounting purpose.
- Preparing Daily Reports: Inventory/Quality/Exception List
- Tracking and monitoring the aged items and take effective steps for closure.
- Perform other duties assigned as and when required i.e. process improvement initiatives, system implementation and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

- Ability Degree in Accounting or relevant professional accountancy qualification.
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of working experience in AP MNC.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a agile and fast paced environment

- Team player and yet able to work independently
- Experience with EMEA vendors (preferable)
- PeopleSoft, PEGA or Large Scale ERP financial systems experience a plus.

Performance objectives

- Fulfil agreed SLAs with Onshore finance teams
- Improved internal procedures and compliance with policies
