Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Data Analyst to support our finance team in financial reporting, data analysis, dashboard development, and performance tracking.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial data, preparing regular financial reports, analysing budget variances, and improving reporting efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with finance managers, financial controllers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyse Profit & Loss (P&L;), Balance Sheet, revenue, cost, and budget-versus-actual reports.
- Perform variance analysis to identify differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyse revenue, expenses, operating costs, and profitability metrics.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and management reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Use SQL to extract, validate, and analyse financial data from relevant data sources.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Investigate reporting discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve data issues.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes.
- Present financial data clearly to finance teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure reports are delivered accurately and within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Finance Analytics, Financial Reporting, FP&A;, or Finance Data Analysis.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, revenue analysis, cost tracking, and budget-versus-actual reporting.




- Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
- Experience collaborating with finance managers, financial controllers, or senior finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience automating financial reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems or financial data platforms.
- Knowledge of data validation and financial reporting controls.
