Senior Accounts Manager – Accounts & CA Firm

Position: Senior Accounts Manager. Department: Accounts & Finance. Industry: Accounts, Taxation & Qualified Services. Reporting To: Partner / Director. Employment Type: Full-Time.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, MIS and client servicing for an accounts/CA firm. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Indian accounting, GST, TDS, income tax and audit processes, along with the ability to independently manage multiple client accounts and supervise junior team members.

Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple clients. Handle bookkeeping, journal entries, ledgers, accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and review trial balances, Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports. Review accounting work prepared by junior accountants. Handle GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliations. Handle TDS compliance including calculations, challans, returns and reconciliations.

Assist with income-tax return preparation. Coordinate and support statutory, tax and internal audits. Conduct bank, GST, TDS,



vendor and customer reconciliations. Coordinate directly with clients. Guide, train and monitor junior accounting staff.

Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field. M.Com / CA Inter / CA Final or equivalent qualification will be an advantage. 5-8+ years of relevant experience in an accounts firm, CA firm, tax consultancy or professional-services environment. Strong experience handling multiple clients. Previous team-handling experience preferred.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP. Good knowledge of MS Excel. Strong practical understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Accounting Standards, Auditing, Reconciliation and Financial Statements.

Compensation & Location: CTC as per experience and market standards. Location: On-site.
