Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading the company's accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking, payroll, financial reporting, costing, receivables, payables, budgeting and internal financial controls. The role supports management with accurate financial information and ensures full compliance with applicable laws.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

· Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally/ERP.

· Generate Sales Tax Invoices, E-Invoices and E-Way Bills.

· Prepare GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and coordinate with Chartered Accountant.

· Manage TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and other statutory compliances.

· Process monthly payroll and employee reimbursements.

· Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and customer/vendor reconciliations.

· Prepare daily cash flow, bank reconciliation and fund planning.

· Process vendor, employee and statutory payments through banking portals.

· Prepare monthly MIS, P&L;, Balance Sheet and management reports.

· Monitor project-wise costing, profitability and budget vs actual analysis.





· Support import/export documentation, LUT, shipping and customs finance records.

· Handle bank guarantees, LC documentation and banking relationships.

· Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.

· Support internal and statutory audits and close audit observations.

· Monitor inventory valuation in coordination with Stores and Production.

· Assist Sales Team with GEM, tender, billing and commercial documentation.

· Maintain quarterly sales updates and financial dashboards.

· Develop financial SOPs and internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.

· Ensure document management and record retention.

· Undertake any urgent assignments allocated by management.
