Role Description The Special Educator will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for learners with diverse needs in the middle school segment and other grades as required. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, adapting curriculum materials, delivering targeted instruction, and collaborating with general educators to create inclusive classroom environments. The role involves working closely with families and support staff to monitor progress, document interventions, and ensure that learners with disabilities receive appropriate accommodations and services.

Additional tasks include maintaining accurate records,



participating in professional development, and contributing to school-wide initiatives aligned with Zuvio’s learning philosophy. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater Delhi Area, with a combination of on-campus responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of Special Education principles and experience working with learners with diverse disabilities.
- Demonstrated Teaching experience, preferably with Middle School learners in inclusive or integrated settings.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and support professionals.
- Relevant degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field; specialized certifications in special or inclusive education are an advantage.
- Knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and evidence-based interventions.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support personalized and hybrid learning environments.
- Commitment to learner-centered, non-discriminatory practices and promoting empathy, resilience, and confidence in students.
- Prior experience in international, progressive, or future-ready schools is beneficial.
