Software Test Engineer – Test Automation

Job Overview

RTAC is seeking a Software Test Engineer to help deliver reliable, reliable, and high-quality software applications. The role involves designing test scenarios, developing automated checks, validating application behavior, and working with engineering teams to identify issues before release.

Responsibilities

- Analyze software requirements and translate them into test scenarios and validation plans.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications using Playwright.
- Perform mobile application testing and automation using Appium.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
- Verify API responses, data accuracy, and end-to-end application workflows.
- Reproduce software defects, document findings, and coordinate with developers on fixes.




- Execute test suites after new features, bug fixes, and application updates.
- Maintain test results, defect reports, and quality documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and reduce repetitive manual testing.

Skills Required

- Understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of API testing, SQL fundamentals, and browser developer tools.
- Familiarity with Git and bug-tracking workflows.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
