Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software QA Engineer role based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Software QA Engineer will design, execute, and document test plans and test cases for transaction processing and related financial applications. The role includes performing manual testing, identifying defects, reproducing issues, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution and high product quality.

The engineer will participate in requirements review,



contribute to test strategy, validate recent features and regression fixes, and help maintain standards for software quality and reliability. The position also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support releases, improve QA processes, and ensure that solutions meet functional, performance, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Quality, Software Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing and test case design.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Software Development concepts and SDLC practices.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience testing financial, banking, or transaction processing systems is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze requirements, document defects clearly, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and basic SQL or API testing skills is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
