As a Software Engineer - Senior Associate you will contribute to the design, development, and support of data engineering solutions within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and guide junior team members while developing your technical skills and personal brand in a setting that values clear communication, critical thinking, and accountability. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Bangalore, you will help deliver data modernization efforts through cloud-based engineering, platform development, and practical problem solving across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining data pipelines, integration workflows, and transformation logic across cloud-based data platforms
- Building scalable data models and warehouse structures that support analytics, reporting, and downstream application use cases
- Using Python, SQL,



and platform services such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, or AWS to implement engineering solutions
- Troubleshooting pipeline failures, performance issues, and data quality defects through root cause analysis and remediation planning
- Translating business and client requirements into technical designs, backlog items, and implementation tasks for assigned workstreams
- Validating data accuracy, lineage, security controls, and access requirements across source systems and target environments
- Reviewing code, technical documentation, and deliverables from junior team members to maintain consistency and technical rigor
- Coordinating with client stakeholders and internal teams to communicate status, surface risks, and adapt delivery plans as priorities change

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4-6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating coursework or project work in data engineering
- Utilizing cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake
- Applying data modeling, pipeline, and transformation skills
- Supporting Agile delivery and iterative solution development
- Interpreting data quality and performance tuning considerations
- Collaborating across teams while navigating ambiguity
