Your Impact

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will collaborate with firmware, backend, SRE, and dashboard engineers to architect, design, and build large-scale systems. You will enable connections between over a million network devices and our products. Given our large footprint, quality is our highest priority. With help from product managers and firmware engineers, you will construct intuitive yet powerful systems that will be used by customers via the Meraki Dashboard.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop software systems and enhance backend features.




- Collaborate with engineers from backend, SRE, dashboard, and support teams to ensure seamless integration, maintain system reliability, enhance user interfaces, and provide comprehensive support for end users.
- Identify and address performance issues.
- Follow established coding standards and contribute insights to improve team knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience writing production code and tests for medium to large-scale systems.
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack technologies, such as Ruby on Rails, Python, React.js, and JavaScript.
- Ability to design productive databases and optimize query performance in a relational database like Postgres.
- Demonstrate ownership of tasks within the development process, from conception to implementation.
- A keen interest in understanding user needs and contributing to product development.
- Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., web applications).
- Experience with container solutions (Kubernetes).
