Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on FrontendEngineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strongexpertise in React.js and Next.js, a keen eye for building modern, responsive,and intuitive user interfaces, and a solid understanding of frontendarchitecture and performance optimization.

In addition to frontend expertise, the candidate should becomfortable working in an AI-assisted development environment using tools suchas Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code to improve engineeringproductivity. A working understanding of backend services built on Java andSpring Boot is also expected to enable effective collaboration with backendteams.

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role where you willbe responsible for designing and developing high-quality web applications whileworking closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design,develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Optimizeapplication performance, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Integratefrontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborateclosely with Product, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering teams.
- Writeclean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code following engineering bestpractices.




- Participatein code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and technicaldiscussions.
- LeverageAI-powered developer tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Codeto improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Troubleshootproduction issues and continuously improve application reliability and userexperience.
- Stayupdated with emerging frontend technologies, AI-assisted development practices,and modern engineering trends.

Required Skills

Frontend Development

4-6years of experience in frontend development.

- Stronghands-on experience with React.js.
- Strongexperience with Next.js, preferably App Router.
- Excellentknowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experiencewith responsive design and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS orMaterial UI.
- Strongunderstanding of component-based architecture and state management such asRedux, Context API, or Zustand.
- Experienceintegrating REST APIs.

UI Engineering

- Strongunderstanding of UI/UX principles.
- Abilityto build clean, reusable, and highly interactive user interfaces.
- Experienceimplementing responsive and mobile-first designs.
- Knowledgeof performance optimization and accessibility best practices.

AI-Assisted Development -Hands-on experience using one or more AI coding assistantssuch as Cursor AI,



GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.

-Ability to effectively leverage AI tools for codegeneration, refactoring, debugging, unit test generation, documentation, andproductivity improvement.

Backend Understanding

Working knowledge of

- Java,Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
- Authenticationmechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
- APIintegration and debugging.

While this is not a backend development role, the candidateshould be comfortable understanding backend APIs and collaborating with backendengineers.

Good to Have

- Experiencewith Vercel deployment.
- Knowledgeof CI/CD pipelines.
- Experiencewith Docker.
- Familiaritywith AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Exposureto microservices architecture.
- Experiencewith frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, orCypress.
