Role : Snowflake Data Engineer

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune/Mumbai/Kolkata/Bhubaneswar

Job Requirements

- 5-10 years of role-dependent data-engineering experience, including 3 years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud across AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL and Python skills, with DBT for transformations.
- Experience in ELT pipeline design and data modeling using star schemas, SCD and Data Vault.
- Knowledge of Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, Time Travel and secure Data Sharing.
- Experience with warehouse sizing, query tuning, clustering and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of dynamic masking, RBAC and row/column-level security.
- Valuable-to-have exposure to Informatica, DataStage, Matillion, Liquibase, Git, Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit, Snowpark or Cortex AI.

Key Responsibilities*

Design and build scalable ELT pipelines and data models on Snowflake using SQL, DBT and Python.

- Develop star-schema, SCD and Data Vault solutions for enterprise analytics and reporting.
- Implement Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks,



Time Travel, Data Sharing and Cortex AI functions.
- Lead or support migrations from Teradata, Oracle, Exadata, GreenPlum or Hadoop to Snowflake.
- Optimize workloads through warehouse sizing, query tuning, clustering and cost-management practices.
- Implement dynamic masking, RBAC, row/column-level security and secure data sharing.
- Build CI/CD and automation using DBT, Liquibase and Git-based pipelines.
- Integrate Snowflake with ETL and BI tools including Informatica, DataStage, Matillion, Power BI and Tableau.
