About the Role

- We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our team for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of biomedical instruments.
- The engineer will be based in Patna and will be responsible for providing service support across the East Zone of India, involving frequent customer visits and travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, calibrate, and demonstrate biomedical instruments at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues in medical/diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
- Attend breakdown/service calls and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform equipment testing, calibration, and performance verification.




- Maintain accurate service reports, installation reports, and preventive-maintenance records.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and end users.
- Coordinate with the technical/support team for complex technical issues and spare-parts requirements.
- Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Maintain service tools, test equipment, and spare parts properly.
- Follow company service procedures, safety standards, and customer-site protocols.
- Maintain good qualified relationships with hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, and other customers.
