Job Brief : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to oversee the maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire safety systems within our facilities across India. This role demands a deep understanding of fire protection equipment, compliance with national safety standards, and the ability to lead technical teams to ensure optimal operational readiness. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in fire safety systems, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace in line with industry regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems including sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, and emergency lighting to ensure full operational compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire safety equipment promptly, implementing effective corrective actions to minimize downtime and risk.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in compliance with regulatory requirements and company documentation standards.
- Collaborate with facility management and safety officers to develop and update fire safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Ensure all fire safety systems meet the latest Indian fire safety codes and standards, coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
- Manage inventory of fire safety equipment and spare parts, ensuring timely procurement and availability for maintenance activities.




- Provide training sessions for facility staff on fire safety awareness, equipment usage, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in risk assessments and recommend improvements to fire safety infrastructure and protocols to enhance overall safety performance.
- Support incident investigations related to fire safety equipment failures and contribute to root cause analysis and preventive measures.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire safety system maintenance and management within the facilities services industry.
- Proven track record of working with Indian fire safety regulations and standards such as NBC (National Building Code) and IS codes.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm control panels, sprinkler systems, gas suppression systems, and portable fire extinguishers.
- Experience in leading technical teams and managing multiple sites is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and safety compliance software.
