Hard working and self-motivated

Main responsibilities:

On-site and in-house hardfacing/cladding (training will be given for specific processes), fitting and welding of steel and stainless steel parts using SAW/MMAW (stic)/MIG and TIG processes

Set up welding parameters, follow and expedite welding operations

Responsible for the manpower, material planning to achieve shift output

Continual improvement to reduce process defects

Coordination with other operation teams to maximise output





Follow safety procedures & 5 S

Coordinate with maintenance team for machine troubleshooting and follow the maintenance schedule regularly

Record daily production logs and maintenance check lists

Plasma cutting finished sheet

Prepare final product for dispatch, label and package

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

Health & Safety awareness

Experience in welding, cutting and forming sheet metal

Welding skills in STIC(SMAW), MIG, TIG and Sub Arc

Able to follow instructions and read basic engineering/shop drawings

Experience in manufacturing

Able to drive a forklift

Ability to measure the dimensions of the production jobs

Good housekeeping practices
