As a Senior Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of projects and ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise, defining architecture and design frameworks, and ensuring coding excellence across the development team.

The role involves mapping business and domain requirements to robust technical solutions, guiding the team through complex problem-solving, and maintaining alignment with industry best practices and emerging technologies. In addition to hands-on technical contributions, you will serve as a mentor, fostering talent development, promoting collaboration, and upholding coding standards within the team.

Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design:

- Define application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Select appropriate frameworks, libraries, and tools (Spring Boot, Hibernate, microservices, etc.).
- Ensure integration with databases, APIs, and third-party systems follows best practices.

Core Technical Leadership:

- Provide hands-on guidance in coding, debugging, performance tuning, and reviewing critical components.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud readiness.

Domain and Technical Alignment

- Translate domain requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Collaborate with the Application Development Lead to ensure business logic is implemented correctly in technical design.
- Perform technical validation of solutions before customer delivery.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure unit testing, automated integration testing, and SonarQube compliance are achieved.
- Address performance bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and ensure high availability.
- Conduct technical reviews and walkthroughs with stakeholders.





Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing

- Mentor developers on advanced Java, architecture, and problem-solving.
- Conduct technical workshops, proof-of-concepts, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Keep the team updated on emerging trends in Java, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

Skills Required:

· Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Microservices Architecture

· Experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications

· Solid knowledge of REST APIs, API integrations, and third-party system integrations

· Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and database performance optimization

· Proficiency in design patterns, software architecture, and secure coding practices

· Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies

· Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

· Expertise in unit testing, integration testing, SonarQube, and quality assurance practices

· Robust troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Qualification:

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

· 7+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java-based enterprise application development.

· Proven experience in application architecture, microservices, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and API development.

· Experience in technical leadership, code reviews, solution design, and mentoring development teams.

· Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).

· Strong experience in database design, performance optimization, and system integration.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Relevant certifications in Java, Cloud Technologies, Kubernetes, or DevOps will be an added advantage.
