Position: Pod lead - Civil and structural engineering
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15 - $20/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities
- Review engineering tasks for technical correctness and reproducibility
- Validate tasks involving diverse engineering modeling and methods
- Ensure tasks reflect realistic engineering workflows and reasoning
- Verify accuracy across key engineering parameters and codes
- Review automated graders for meaningful engineering evaluations
- Provide feedback to task developers and track revisions
- Mentor and support trainers, monitor quality and productivity
Requirements
- Ph.D. or advanced technical experience in Civil Engineering
- Solid programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar languages
- Hands-on expertise in structural analysis or geotechnical modeling
- Understanding of engineering principles and simulation workflows
- Experience reviewing complex technical work and simulations
- Excellent written communication for technical feedback
- Experience mentoring or leading small technical teams
