Job Requirements
"Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Murex Test Analyst with 5–7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of Murex modules and asset classes, with a solid focus on both manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for end-to-end test cycle execution, from scenario creation to trade validation across front, middle, and back-office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Lifecycle Management: Lead the entire test cycle, including the development of comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases.
- Functional Testing: Perform rigorous functional validation of various Murex banking and capital market asset classes.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain mxTest packages to automate trade lifecycles, covering trade booking, events, and OSP (Order & Settlement Processing) flows.
- Operational Validation: Execute trade validation and oversee operations across Middle and Back Office workflows within the Murex system.
- Technical Troubleshooting:
Analyze Murex-generated logs to trace trades across system tasks, identifying bottlenecks and defects.
- System Knowledge: Apply in-depth understanding of Murex architecture, configurations, and interfaces to ensure seamless integration and system stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Murex testing environments.
- Domain Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of Murex banking/capital market asset classes and trade workflows.
- Automation: Proven experience in Functional Automation, specifically utilizing mxTest for complex trade life cycles.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret Murex logs and trace trades; broad understanding of Murex configuration and system architecture.
- Operational Exposure: Experience performing and testing Middle and Back Office operations.
- Methodology: Strong experience in test scenario selection and test case implementation
