Job Role: Senior SMT Production Engineer

RECXON Advanced Technologies Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior SMT Production Engineer to independently manage complete SMT production line operations, including machine programming, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, quality control, and production planning.

The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in SMT manufacturing and be capable of resolving technical issues independently, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth production with consistent quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage end-to-end SMT production operations, from solder paste printing to final PCB inspection.
- Operate, program, set up, and troubleshoot Pick-and-Place Machines, Solder Paste Printers, Reflow Ovens, SPI, and AOI equipment.
- Handle machine programming, feeder setup, component libraries, PCB changeovers, and new product introduction (NPI).
- Identify and resolve machine breakdowns, placement errors, feeder issues, soldering defects, and production-related technical problems.
- Plan and execute daily production schedules, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved.
- Perform preventive maintenance, machine calibration, and basic repairs to minimize downtime.
- Optimize SMT processes, reflow profiles, machine utilization, and production efficiency.




- Ensure PCB assembly quality in accordance with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ESD, and MSD handling standards.
- Coordinate with quality, procurement, stores, and engineering teams for smooth production.
- Supervise SMT operators, manage manpower, and maintain production and maintenance records.
- Take complete ownership of production output, machine performance, quality, and on-time delivery.

Required Experience

- Strong hands-on experience in complete SMT line operation and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in SMT machine programming, setup, maintenance, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly, electronic components, BOM, Gerber files, and assembly drawings.
- Experience in solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, SPI, and AOI.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve machine and soldering defects.
- Knowledge of IPC standards, ESD safety, and production quality control.
- Strong production planning, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, or related discipline.
- Experience: 5–10 years in SMT production or Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
- Prior experience independently handling complete SMT production lines is mandatory.
- Experience in SMT machine programming, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance is essential.
