Hiring: Senior Routing & Switching Engineer

Experience: 8–10+ years

Location: Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Shift Timing: 12 AM to 9 PM

We are looking for a Senior Routing & Switching Engineer responsible for implementation, migration and troubleshooting of enterprise and data-center routing/switching infrastructure across Cisco, Aruba and Juniper platforms. The role requires solid architecture awareness and hands-on execution during complex network cutovers.

Primary Focus

Cisco Nexus/Catalyst/ASR/8300, Aruba CX and Juniper switching.

Required Technical Skills

1. Cisco Nexus

- Nexus 9504, 9348 and 93180YC.
- NX-OS operations, VLAN/VRF, vPC/port-channel concepts and data-center switching.

2. Cisco Routing / Switching

- Catalyst 8K/9K, ASR 1002, Cisco 8300 series.
- Enterprise LAN/WAN and external routing.

3. Aruba Switching

- Aruba CX 6200/6300/8320 and relevant models such as JL479A/JL658A.

4. Juniper Switching





- Juniper EX3300 and EX2200 operational support and migration exposure.

5. Routing Protocols

- BGP, OSPF, static routing, route redistribution/filtering, VRF, HSRP/VRRP and policy-based routing.

6. Layer 2 / Segmentation

- VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, STP/RSTP/MST, EtherChannel/LACP, port-channel, inter-VLAN routing and segmentation.

7. Troubleshooting

- Packet capture, routing-path analysis, latency/loss analysis, interface errors, convergence and incident RCA.

Mandatory Certification Active CCIE certification is mandatory.

- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure is preferred.
- Legacy CCIE Routing & Switching is acceptable where valid/relevant.

Preferred / Advantageous:

- Additional Cisco data-center, Aruba switching or Juniper certifications are advantageous.
