- As a Senior Registrar in Medical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in the comprehensive care and treatment of cancer patients

- Working closely with the oncology team, your responsibilities will include patient management, treatment planning, and collaboration with various healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical oncology services

Responsibilities

- Patient Care:Conduct detailed assessments of cancer patients, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies

- Treatment Administration:Administer chemotherapy and other oncologic treatments, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring for potential side effects

- Collaborate with the nursing team to provide supportive care during treatment

- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:Work closely with surgeons, radiation oncologists,



pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care

- Participate in tumor boards and case conferences

- Clinical Research and Trials:Contribute to clinical research activities and trials in the field of medical oncology

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology treatments

- Education and Training:Provide education to junior medical staff, residents, and nursing staff on medical oncology principles and treatment modalities

- Contribute to educational programs and workshops

- Quality Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, treatment outcomes, and adherence to protocols

- Contribute to audits and research projects

- Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with hospital standards
