Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) - Duties & Responsibilities The Employee’s duties and responsibilities shall be those of a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Senior QS) and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Preparation, review, and management of project budgets, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost estimates, rate analysis, and tender documentation.
- Verify, certify, and process subcontractor, vendor, and client bills, including preparing interim and final payment certificates.
- Monitoring project costs, variations, claims, and change orders to ensure effective cost control and budget compliance.
- Preparation and submission of client invoices, measurement sheets, reconciliation statements, and final accounts.
- Coordination with project managers, site engineers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding commercial and contractual matters.
- Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, terms, and conditions.
- Tracking project progress and preparing periodic cost reports, cash flow statements, forecasts, and financial analyses for management.
- Identifying potential commercial risks and opportunities and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintaining all quantity surveying records,



measurements, correspondence, and supporting documentation related to the project.
- Assisting the Company in securing recent projects by supporting tendering, estimation, budgeting, and commercial negotiations.

The Employee will also be expected to promote the Company's business with existing clients, develop new business opportunities, and work in conjunction with the Directors, associates, and other team members to achieve the Company's objectives.

In this position, the Employee shall devote the whole of the Employee's working time and attention to the business of the Company and shall not engage, directly or indirectly, in any other employment, profession, trade, or business without the prior written consent of the Company.

The Company reserves the right to assign additional responsibilities, vary job content, or transfer the Employee to a similar role, provided such changes are consistent with the Employee's qualifications, experience, and the nature of work normally undertaken by a Senior Quantity Surveyor, and on terms no less favorable than those currently applicable to the Employee.
