Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and C#.
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using .NET technologies.
- Develop automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing when required to validate application functionality.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis of application defects and test automation failures.
- Review automation scripts and testing deliverables to ensure adherence to coding and quality standards.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates for stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall testing processes.

Required Technical Skills
- C# and .NET: Strong programming skills,



object-oriented programming, and experience developing automation solutions.
- Selenium WebDriver: Expertise in browser automation, locators, waits, handling agile web elements, and cross-browser testing.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Experience designing and maintaining data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid frameworks.
- Testing Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- API Testing: Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured alternatives suitable for .NET environments.
- Test Management: Experience with test planning, test case design, defect reporting, and test execution tracking.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, or similar tools.
- CI/CD: Experience integrating automated tests with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in Scrum or other Agile software development environments.
- Database Testing: Ability to write SQL queries and validate backend data where required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
