Title: Senior QA Engineer

: Key Responsibilities

- Review requirements and functional documentation, identify gaps, and maintain the query log.

- Analyse existing test suites and develop additional test cases to ensure comprehensive acceptance and integration test coverage.

- Design and execute end-to-end, integration, acceptance, functional, system, and regression testing.

- Perform hands-on hardware and software integration testing across E-gates, kiosks, passport and document readers, biometric devices, cameras, scanners, printers, sensors, and other peripherals.

- Validate complete passenger journeys across multiple applications, APIs, devices, and backend systems.

- Perform API testing, including REST/SOAP services, request and response validation, data flows, and system integrations.

- Manage test cases, test execution results, and defect tracking using ALM Octane.

- Investigate defects across hardware, application, API, and backend layers, collaborating with engineering teams to support root-cause analysis.

- Contribute to test automation by identifying suitable scenarios and supporting the maintenance of automated test suites.

- Provide testing estimates, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years of experience in software testing,



preferably within an Agile/DevOps environment.

- Proven experience in hardware and software integration testing of complex systems involving physical devices and software applications.

- Hands-on experience testing E-gates, airport kiosks, automated border control systems, or passenger processing solutions.

- Experience integrating and testing devices such as passport/document readers, biometric equipment, cameras, scanners, printers, gates, and sensors.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end system integration and troubleshooting across hardware, application, API, and backend layers.

- Strong experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing.

- Hands-on experience with API testing, including REST and SOAP services.

- Experience using ALM Octane for test management and defect tracking.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, hardware engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Positive to Have

- Experience with test automation frameworks and maintaining automated test suites.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience in aviation, airports, airlines, border control, or travel technology.

- Knowledge of biometric systems, passport validation, and automated border control solutions.
