Role Description The Senior Operator role is a full time, on-site position based in Bharuch.

The Senior

Operator will oversee daily plant or facility operations, monitor equipment performance, and ensure adherence to established procedures, safety rules, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery, recording and reporting operational data, and coordinating with maintenance teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime. The role involves guiding junior operators, supporting training activities, and contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

Operator will work closely with supervisors and other departments to meet production targets and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

- Strong operational knowledge of industrial equipment and systems, with the ability to manage start-up, shutdown, and routine adjustments safely and efficiently.
- Experience following standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality guidelines, including accurate logging and reporting of operational data.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, support training, and coordinate effectively with maintenance, quality, and supervisory staff.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the capacity to identify operational issues quickly and support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in engineering, process operations, or a related field; prior experience in a plant or industrial environment at an operator or senior operator level is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with on-site work in Bharuch, willingness to work in shifts if required, and strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
